Objective: The Church Mobilization Missionary under direction of RJI leadership will create a strategic plan to help realize the mission of RJI: to educate, equip and mobilize communities with the tools needed to be a force in the global movement to end human trafficking.

Baseline Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • College degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Conversant in diverse church traditions
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Willing/able to speak and preach in diverse settings (schools, churches, community groups) with awareness of context

Personal Qualifications

  • Self- starter, able to problem solve and work independently with little supervision
  • Able to create and maintain strategic plan in coordination with RJI staff
  • Networker, looking to help make connections in broad and diverse faith settings
  • Able to manage multiple administrative tasks accurately, giving attention to detail
  • Fundraiser, looking to raise support and increase network of financial donors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a strategic plan in conjunction with RJI staff to mobilize churches across the state and provide support to other Justice Initiatives around the state
  • Serve as the liaison between the churches and RJI
  • Oversee program administration and volunteer support in the following areas
  • Maintain the church mobilization speaking calendar
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and curriculum for speaking engagements
  • Church database: Input and maintain church data including, registration forms, class attendance, surveys, attachments, completion certificates etc.
  • Create and send out communication to partner churches at least once per month
  • Create mobilization literature to share in diverse church settings
  • Maintain spreadsheet of active volunteers and church relationships
  • Schedule shadowing opportunities and required training opportunities
  • Respond to phone calls/emails as related to RJI Church Mobilization
